10/03/2017 MINUTES 1 COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM SPECIAL MEETING TUESDAY 2:00 P.M. OCTOBER 3, 2017 Board members present: Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner Obie O’Brien. Excused: Chairman Paul Jewell. Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Dan Carlson, CDS Director; Brett Wachsmith, Treasurer; Jeremy Johnston, Staff Planner and 5 members of the public. PUBLIC HEARING O’KEEFE PLAT ALTERATION CDS At 2:00 p.m. VICE-CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing to consider the O’Keefe Plat Alteration(LP-17-00005). DAN CARLSON, CDS DIRECTOR reviewed a Staff Report relating to the O’Keefe Plat Alteration (LP-17-00005) including the background of the application; policy & regulatory requirements; administrative review; and suggested Findings of Fact. The Board asked questions of Staff and for further clarification on the proposed Plat Alteration. DAN BUTLER, AGENT said he had talked with the other property owner and he was in support of the Plat Alteration. THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. COMMISSIONER O’BRIEN moved to approve the O’Keefe Plat Alteration including the proposed Conditions as recommended by the Public Works Department; Findings of Fact; and to direct Staff to prepare enabling documents. VICE-CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ seconded. Motion carried 2-0. PUBLIC HEARING RESALE OF TAX TITLE PROPERTY TREASURER At 2:16 p.m. VICE-CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing to consider the Resale of Tax Title Properties. BRETT WACHSMITH, TREASURER reviewed Applications for Resale of Tax Title Properties and recommended Board approval. He said the Deeds & Excise Affidavits have been prepared and the applicants were ready to move forward with payment following the Public Hearing. THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED.
