KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
TUESDAY 9:00 A.M. AUGUST 22, 2017
Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura
Osiadacz & Commissioner Obie O’Brien.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Mark Cook, Public
Works Director & Neil Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor.
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 9:04 a.m. Chairman Paul Jewell opened a Special Meeting and
announced the Board would recess into Executive Session for 15
minutes to consider the selection of a site or the acquisition of
real estate by lease or purchase when public knowledge regarding
such consideration would cause a likelihood of increased price.
Potential action was anticipated.
At 9:19 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No
action taken.
At 9:19 a.m. Chairman Jewell announced the Board would recess back
into Executive Session for 10 minutes to consider the selection of a
site or the acquisition of real estate by lease or purchase when
public knowledge regarding such consideration would cause a
likelihood of increased price. Potential action was anticipated.
At 9:29 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. Chairman
Jewell was directed to continue negotiations.
Meeting adjourned at 9:29 a.m.
