COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:40 A.M. AUGUST 14, 2017
Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell & Commissioner Obie
O’Brien. Excused: Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Lisa Young, HR
Director; Christine Luvera, Dist. Court Administrator & Barb Demory,
Legal Processing Assistant/Dist. Court Administrator.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD LOWER DIST. CT
Christine Luvera, District Court Administrator requested the Board
consider allowing for a Part Time Temporary help for a period of 9
days between 8/28/2017 - 9/8/2017 while the office is working to
fill Barb Demory’s position. She stated her last day is 8-18-17 and
Barb will be taking her position. She stated that Brenda Huston has
helped out in the past and can do so again for approximately two
weeks. She stated that they have savings in their budget due to
unfilled positions (currently trying to fill), so there is not
budget impact, and the cost would be approximately $1,200.00
dollars.
The Board approved the request as presented and wished Ms. Luvera
well.
