08/07/2017 MINUTES 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 9:40 A.M. AUGUST 7, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell & Commissioner Obie <br />O’Brien. Excused: Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Jill Scheffer, <br />Event Center Director & Lucas Huck, County Engineer. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD EVENT CENTER <br /> <br />Jill Scheffer, Event Center Director stated that the Fair Board had <br />expressed concerns for the structural condition of the Large Coke <br />Stage. She presented a Formal Task Order for the Board to consider <br />and explained that she asked the County Engineer to attend the <br />meeting in the event the Board had any questions from an engineering <br />perspective. <br /> <br />The Board authorized Ms. Scheffer to sign the Task Order with KPFF, <br />noting the max amount payable would be $3,600.00. The Board stressed <br />the importance of getting this completed quickly. <br /> <br />Ms. Scheffer presented the Board with the WSU Master Agreement. She <br />explained that this will allow WSU to advertise the Event Center <br />location on their website and documents.
