AUGUST 1, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz; and Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board and Mark Cook, Public <br />Works Director. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING VALLEY FENCE, INC. PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN JEWELL opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />leasing Lot C-7 of the Kittitas County Airport Binding Site Plan to <br />Valley Fence, Inc. <br /> <br />MARK COOK, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR reviewed a proposed Lease with <br />Valley Fence, Inc. for Lot C-7 of the Kittitas County Airport <br />Binding Site Plan which is 1.86 acres 81,021.6 Sq. Ft. He said the <br />lease would commence on August 1, 2017 and go through July 2067. He <br />indicated Valley Fence would like to be able to allow for RV storage <br />on the property however, the current document does not allow for it. <br />He said he would be talking to Community Development Services about <br />possible options in the future. <br /> <br />THERE BEING NO ONE IN ATTENDANCE, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING <br />WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />LEASE VALLEY FENCE, INC. PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ moved to approve a Lease Agreement between <br />Kittitas County and Valley Fence, Inc. for Lot C-7 of the Kittitas <br />County Airport Binding Site Plan, from August 1, 2017 through July <br />31, 2067. COMMISSIONER O’BRIEN seconded.
