COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />Tuesday 2:00 PM July 12, 2016 <br />Board members present: Laura Osiadacz, Obie O'Brien, 2:50 Paul <br />Jewell <br />Others: Patti Johnson, Mickey Webb <br />REGULAR MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br />Meeting called to order at 2:00pm <br />Solid Waste Updates: Patti informed the Board that the <br />Ellensburg Scale house attendant was leaving and that we would <br />have a new employee the first of August. <br />Patti let the Board know that Solid Waste had received a PDR <br />related to the Wind farm at the Ryegrass facility and that we <br />were working with Doug Mitchell in the Prosecutors office. <br />Maintenance Update: Terry and Don will be working on the new <br />lock installation in the Courthouse and the Commissioner's <br />office locks would be changed this week. <br />Discussion was held on Crack sealing of county owned parking <br />lots. <br />Project Updates: ALSO Architect is working on the Rodeo arena <br />seating project drawings. Cost for the project is higher than <br />original hoped and need to look at cutting items to get project <br />cost down. <br />KVEC Updates: Mickey discussed the house at 1100 University way. <br />The Abatement and removal will take place August 8th and 9th. The <br />second house could wait & contact fire department for controlled <br />burn. <br />Mickey informed the Board that the Arena dirt project was <br />completed and the user groups seemed to be happy with the <br />project. <br />
