REGULAR MEETING
HR STUDY SESSION
TUESDAY 10:00 AM July 11, 2017
Board members present: Paul Jewell, Laura Osiadacz
Others: Jeanne Killgore, Jerry Pettit, Greg Zempel, Christopher Horner, Lisa Young
1) Call to order – 10:07 AM
2) Introduce new HR Representative – HR Director Young introduced Jeanne Killgore.
3) Auditor: Ballot Drop Boxes – Unfunded Mandate – Auditor Pettit was present to discuss
the impacts of the unfunded mandate regarding additional ballot boxes; Prosecutor Zempel
indicated there are about four (4) counties that have expressed interest in joining a lawsuit
challenging the new legislation. The effort is being coordinated through WACO/WSAC.
The Board stated they are in agreement with filing a lawsuit to challenge the unfunded
mandate by joining the WACO/WSAC effort.
4) HR Projects – Director Young provided an update on her pending projects
