07/03/2017 MINUTES 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 9:40 A.M. JULY 03, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell & Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz. Excused: Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Susan Grindle, <br />CEO HopeSource; Robin Read, PH Administrator. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD PUBLIC HEALTH <br /> <br />Robin Read, Public Health Administrator presented the Board with the <br />Homelessness & Affordable Housing Committee (HAHC) RFP timeline and <br />proposed amount. Commissioner Osiadacz (Chair of HAHC) explained <br />that the Committee met to discuss the RFP proposal and would like to <br />get the Boards approval to move forward. She stated that the BoCC <br />had previously met and decided on an amount of $500,000.00, to award <br />through the RFP and the HAHC has suggested $400,000.00 of which <br />would come from the Homelessness Fund and $100,000.00 from the <br />Affordable Housing Fund. <br /> <br />Chairman Jewell expressed his support for the proposed timeline and <br />amount based off the information provided.
