KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:40 A.M. JULY 03, 2017
Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell & Vice-Chairman Laura
Osiadacz. Excused: Commissioner Obie O’Brien.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Susan Grindle,
CEO HopeSource; Robin Read, PH Administrator.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD PUBLIC HEALTH
Robin Read, Public Health Administrator presented the Board with the
Homelessness & Affordable Housing Committee (HAHC) RFP timeline and
proposed amount. Commissioner Osiadacz (Chair of HAHC) explained
that the Committee met to discuss the RFP proposal and would like to
get the Boards approval to move forward. She stated that the BoCC
had previously met and decided on an amount of $500,000.00, to award
through the RFP and the HAHC has suggested $400,000.00 of which
would come from the Homelessness Fund and $100,000.00 from the
Affordable Housing Fund.
Chairman Jewell expressed his support for the proposed timeline and
amount based off the information provided. Commissioner Osiadacz
indicated that she was also in support of moving forward.
Robin Read, Public Health Administrator stated that she would update
the statement to be added to the RFP and get it posted.
