KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
THURSDAY 4:30 P.M. JUNE 29, 2017
Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura
Osiadacz. Excused: Commissioner Obie O’Brien.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Mark Cook, Public
Works Director.
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 4:32 p.m. Chairman Paul Jewell opened a Special Meeting and
announced the Board would recess into Executive Session for 10
minutes to consider the selection of a site or the acquisition of
real estate by lease or purchase when public knowledge regarding
such consideration would cause a likelihood of increased price.
Potential action was anticipated.
At 4:42 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session.
AGREEMENT VACANT LAND PURCHASE COMMISSIONERS
Chairman Jewell moved to authorize Vice-Chair signature on a vacant
land purchase and sale agreement for tax parcel’s 11813, 11848 &
13229, in the amount of $349,000.00; as well as the Title
Contingency Addendum to the Purchase & Sale Agreement and the
Optional Clauses Addendum to Purchase and Sale Agreement.
Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 2-0.
Meeting adjourned at 4:42 p.m.
