2017-06-27 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONER’S CONFERENCE ROOM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 3:00 P.M. JUNE 27, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Paul Jewell, Chairman; Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz. Excused Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Rick Weaver, <br />Comprehensive Mental Health (CMH) and Robin Read, Public Health <br />Administrator. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING COMPREHENSIVE HEALTHCARE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 3:00 p.m. Chairman Jewell opened a Special Meeting to receive an <br />update from Rick Weaver, CEO Comprehensive Healthcare regarding the <br />transition from Healthcare Authority to Managed Care Organization in <br />2020. <br /> <br />Rick Weaver, Comprehensive Healthcare provided a brief history for <br />Commissioner Osiadacz since they had not met before. He reviewed his <br />interactions and involvement in Kittitas County and how it’s evolved <br />over the years. <br /> <br />There was discussion on the Managed Care Model; how services are <br />delivered to the Medicaid Population; Behavioral Health ASO; <br />Discussion on the 1115 Waiver and the pros and cons of joining in on <br />the early adoption or waiting till it is State Law (2020). There was <br />discussion on the role of the RSN in the future and on how many <br />managed care plans the County may want; leadership care plan; early <br />warning system and the Accountable Communities of Health (ACH). <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 3:50 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz Paul Jewell, Chairman <br />
