JUNE 27, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Paul Jewell, Chairman; Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz. Excused Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Rick Weaver, <br />Comprehensive Mental Health (CMH) and Robin Read, Public Health <br />Administrator. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING COMPREHENSIVE HEALTHCARE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 3:00 p.m. Chairman Jewell opened a Special Meeting to receive an <br />update from Rick Weaver, CEO Comprehensive Healthcare regarding the <br />transition from Healthcare Authority to Managed Care Organization in <br />2020. <br /> <br />Rick Weaver, Comprehensive Healthcare provided a brief history for <br />Commissioner Osiadacz since they had not met before. He reviewed his <br />interactions and involvement in Kittitas County and how it’s evolved <br />over the years. <br /> <br />There was discussion on the Managed Care Model; how services are <br />delivered to the Medicaid Population; Behavioral Health ASO; <br />Discussion on the 1115 Waiver and the pros and cons of joining in on <br />the early adoption or waiting till it is State Law (2020).
