JUNE 20, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz and Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Gene Dana, Sheriff; Greg <br />Zempel, Prosecutor; Jill Scheffer, Event Center Director; Bert Marx, <br />Transport Officer; Terry Powers, Assistant Maintenance Supervisor; Kathy <br />Jurgens, Finance Manager; Kathy Howard, Paralegal Support Enforcement; <br />Lorraine Hill, Paralegal Support Enforcement; Robin Raap, Office <br />Administrator; Angela Bugni, Legal Secretary III; Karra Bailey, LE <br />Technologist; Scott Casey, Finance Manager; Darren Higashiyama, <br />Operations Commander; Doug Mitchell, Deputy Prosecutor III; Heidi <br />Childs, Fiscal Analyst; Dora Van Epps, Fiscal Analyst; Jerry Pettit, <br />Auditor; Paul Sander, Deputy Prosecutor III; Debbie Myers, Board Clerk; <br />Jessie Blackwood, Legal Secretary I; Clinton Van De Venter, HHW <br />Supervisor; Mona Fritz, Legal Secretary II; and approximately 25 members <br />of the public. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Jewell called the meeting to order. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Chairman Jewell led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION OF NEW COUNTY EMPLOYEES <br /> <br />Kathy Jurgens, Finance Manager introduced Scott Casey as the new Finance <br />Manager in the Public Works Department. <br /> <br />PROCLAMATIONS <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION CLE ELUM/ROSLYN BOYS GOLF TEAM DAY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve a Proclamation declaring June 23, <br />2017 as “Cle Elum/Roslyn High School Boys Golf Team State Champions Day” <br />in Kittitas County, honoring their 2017 1A State Title. Commissioner <br />O’Brien seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
