2017-06-14 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONER’S CONFERENCE ROOM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />WEDNESDAY 11:00 A.M. JUNE 14, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz and Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Holly Myers, <br />EH Supervisor; Holly Duncan, EH Specialist II and Kaitlyn Kelly, <br />Intern. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING PACKAGE C DISCUSSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 11:00 a.m. Chairman Jewell opened a Special Meeting to discuss <br />the Package C Proposal from the County Environmental Health <br />Department. <br /> <br />Holly Myers, EH Specialist II presented handouts for the Board to <br />review. She stated that any questions, feedback or edits she would <br />appreciate to receiving and/or discuss. Ms. Myers reviewed the <br />following handouts: Water Bank Package C for Cistern Water System <br />Proposal; Environmental Health Cistern Policy & Procedures Cistern <br />Water System Requirements; Cistern Water System (serving one <br />connection) Adequate Water Supply Determination for Building <br />Permits; Certificate of Potable Water Storage/Cistern Use New <br />Permit/Potable Water Hauler License/Time of Sale Potable Water <br />Storage/Cistern System Inspection/ Annual Potable Water <br />Storage/Cistern Water Test Results Review; Notice of an Alternative <br />(non-standard) Water Source and Commercial Water Hauler Checklist. <br />Ms. Myers indicated that she would encourage the Board to look at <br />Package C and reviewed what it had to offer. <br /> <br />The Board asked Ms. Myers to set a meeting for two weeks out for the <br />Board to follow up and provide the next steps/further direction. <br />There was a brief discussion on whether or not a Public Hearing <br />would be needed to finalize the Boards decision. <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 11:32 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz Paul Jewell, Chairman <br />
