KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONER’S CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
WEDNESDAY 11:00 A.M. JUNE 14, 2017
Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura
Osiadacz and Commissioner Obie O’Brien.
Others: Mandy Buchholz Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Holly Myers,
EH Supervisor; Holly Duncan, EH Specialist II and Kaitlyn Kelly,
Intern.
SPECIAL MEETING PACKAGE C DISCUSSION COMMISSIONERS
At 11:00 a.m. Chairman Jewell opened a Special Meeting to discuss
the Package C Proposal from the County Environmental Health
Department.
Holly Myers, EH Specialist II presented handouts for the Board to
review. She stated that any questions, feedback or edits she would
appreciate to receiving and/or discuss. Ms. Myers reviewed the
following handouts: Water Bank Package C for Cistern Water System
Proposal; Environmental Health Cistern Policy & Procedures Cistern
Water System Requirements; Cistern Water System (serving one
connection) Adequate Water Supply Determination for Building
Permits; Certificate of Potable Water Storage/Cistern Use New
Permit/Potable Water Hauler License/Time of Sale Potable Water
Storage/Cistern System Inspection/ Annual Potable Water
Storage/Cistern Water Test Results Review; Notice of an Alternative
(non-standard) Water Source and Commercial Water Hauler Checklist.
Ms. Myers indicated that she would encourage the Board to look at
Package C and reviewed what it had to offer.
The Board asked Ms. Myers to set a meeting for two weeks out for the
Board to follow up and provide the next steps/further direction.
There was a brief discussion on whether or not a Public Hearing
would be needed to finalize the Boards decision.
Meeting adjourned at 11:32 a.m.
