06/07/2017 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />WEDNESDAY 10:30 A.M. JUNE 7, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz & Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Lisa Young, Human Resource Director; Chris Horner, Deputy <br />Prosecutor; Clayton Myers, Undersheriff; Lisa McMeekin, Washington <br />Counties Risk Pool; and John Colvard (SeaPort Claims). <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 10:35 a.m. Chairman Jewell opened a Special Meeting announced the <br />Board would recess into Executive Session for 30 minutes to discuss <br />with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating to <br />agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel <br />representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which <br />the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an official <br />capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge <br />regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or <br />financial consequence to the agency. Possible action anticipated. <br /> <br />At 11:05 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No <br />action was taken. <br /> <br />At 11:05 a.m. Chairman Jewell announced the Board would recess back <br />into Executive Session for 10 minutes to discuss with legal counsel <br />representing the agency matters relating to agency enforcement <br />actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency <br />litigation or potential litigation to which the agency, the <br />governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, or is <br />likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the <br />discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial <br />consequence to the agency.
