COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONER’S CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
WEDNESDAY 1:30 P.M. MAY 31, 2017
Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura
Osiadacz and Commissioner Obie O’Brien.
Others: Mandy Buchholz Deputy Clerk of the Board; Dan Carlson, CDS
Director and one member of the public.
SPECIAL MEETING ILA – UGA - CITY COMMISSIONERS
At 1:30 p.m. Chairman Jewell opened a Special Meeting to discuss
resuming engagement with the City regarding the ILA-UGA.
Commissioner O’Brien presented the Board with a DRAFT version of the
ILA - UGA between the City and the County for discussion.
There was discussion over Section 6 – 6.1, 6.2, & 6.3 as well as
Item 7, Section 10 (remove entirely), Item 9, Section 11.5 and 11.6.
The Board discussed Road & Utility Corridors and indicated that they
would like to get a proposal to the City of Ellensburg by August 1,
2017. The Board indicated that at the follow up meeting Public Works
Director Mark Cook and Deputy Prosecutor Neil Caulkins should be in
attendance.
OTHER BUSINESS
Commissioner Osiadacz requested and was granted permission to
publish a FaceBook post regarding the Hotel Motel Tax Grant
Application Announcement.
Meeting adjourned at 2:20 p.m.
