KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
THURSDAY 3:00 P.M. APRIL 27, 2017
Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura
Osiadacz, and Commissioner Obie O’Brien.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Holly Myers, Environmental
Health Supervisor; Kaitlyn Reddick, Fiscal Analyst; and Peter Dykstra,
Special Appointed Deputy Prosecutor (via telephone).
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 3:05 p.m. Chairman Paul Jewell opened a Special Meeting and
announced the Board would recess into Executive Session for 15
minutes to consider the selection of a site or the acquisition of
real estate by lease or purchase when public knowledge regarding
such consideration would cause a likelihood of increased price. No
action was anticipated.
At 3:20 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No
action taken.
At 3:20 p.m. Chairman Jewell announced the Board would recess back
into Executive Session for 15 minutes to consider the selection of a
site or the acquisition of real estate by lease or purchase when
public knowledge regarding such consideration would cause a
likelihood of increased price. No action was anticipated.
At 3:35 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No
action taken.
At 3:35 p.m. Chairman Jewell announced the Board would recess back
into Executive Session for 10 minutes to consider the selection of a
site or the acquisition of real estate by lease or purchase when
public knowledge regarding such consideration would cause a
likelihood of increased price. No action was anticipated.
At 3:45 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session.
Instructions were given to Staff to continue with negotiations.
