APRIL 18, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz and Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Chris Horner, Deputy <br />Prosecutor; Mark Cook, Public Works Director; Patti Johnson, Solid <br />Waste/Maintenance Director; Dan Carlson, CDS Director and approximately <br />30 members of the public. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Jewell called the meeting to order. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Chairman Jewell led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION OF NEW COUNTY EMPLOYEES <br /> <br />Dan Carlson, CDS Director introduced Jeremy Johnston as their new <br />Planner I. <br /> <br />PROCLAMATIONS <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION KITTITAS HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Tim Ravet, Coach for the Kittitas High School Boys Basketball Team <br />thanked the County for honoring the team and commented on how great of <br />young men they were both on and off the court. <br /> <br />Team Captain Brian Arnold thanked the community for all of their support <br />during the season. <br /> <br />Team Captain Drew Lamb said he was fortunate to have shared the season <br />with the team members and was appreciative of their friendship. <br /> <br />Dick Brown said he appreciated the Board’s Proclamation and felt it was <br />important for the community to recognize what a great group of young men <br />who are on the basketball team.
