2017-03-29 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONER’S CONFERENCE ROOM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />WEDNESDAY 1:00 P.M. MARCH 29, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner <br />Obie O’Brien. Excused: Chairman Paul Jewell. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II & Mark Cook, <br />Public Works Director. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING ROUNDABOUT FUNDING PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />At 1:07 p.m. Vice-Chairman Osiadacz opened a Special Meeting to <br />consider a Resolution Authorizing a Funding Agreement with WSDOT for <br />the HWY 97 Roundabout in Ellensburg, WA (West Interchange). <br /> <br />Mark Cook, Public Works Director reviewed a Staff Report and <br />presented the Board with a Resolution and Funding Agreement for <br />their consideration. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2017-060 ROUNDABOUT FUNDING PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to approve Resolution No. 2017-060, A <br />Contribution Agreement between Kittitas County and Washington State <br />Department of Transportation Supporting Construction US 97 Dolarway <br />Intersection Improvements. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. The Board <br />thanked Director Cook for going above and beyond with this project. <br />They asked that he extend their appreciation to County Road Engineer <br />Lucas Huck and expressed their excitement for what this project will <br />do for the County.
