COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
TUESDAY 3:00 P.M. MARCH 14, 2017
Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura
Osiadacz (by-phone) & Commissioner Obie O’Brien.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Greg Zempel,
Prosecutor; Gene Dana, Sheriff; Clay Myers, Undersheriff; Judy
Pless, Budget and Finance Manager.
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 3:05 p.m. Chairman Jewell opened a Special Meeting announced the
Board would recess into Executive Session for 20 minutes to discuss
with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating to
agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel
representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which
the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an official
capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge
regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or
financial consequence to the agency. Possible action anticipated.
At 3:25 p.m. the Board reconvened from Executive Session. Staff was
directed to pay the settlement to Mr. Hoffman and his Attorney.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:25 p.m.
