2017 Project Prioritization
There was a general discussion about technology project prioritization for 2017. No direction was
provided by the board.
Other business
Mr. Goeben updated the board:
• Presidents Weekend Outage in Cle Elum
During routine maintenance the Cle Elum courthouse lost connection to the Ellensburg
courthouse. After thorough troubleshooting, a cycling of the network equipment was required
in order to re-establish connection. This caused a temporary outage across the network.
• SMARTGOV Implementation Update
The implementation of the permit tracking software is proceeding with configuration and
training. The Prosecutor’s office is currently reviewing the contract for the remaining work. A
public meeting will be scheduled for the board to sign the contract.
• Linking from meeting agendas to recorded videos
The county paperless agenda system (PAS) has been updated to include adding links to the
meeting videos. The clerks have been provided instructions.
• Staff photos in Outlook
Mr. Goeben received board approval to add security photos to Active Director for display in
Outlook. The photos are not part of the email message record.
