Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell and Vice-Chairman
Laura Osiadacz. Excused: Commissioner Obie O’Brien.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Doc Hansen, Planning
Official; and 3 members of the public.
SPECIAL MEETING SET PUBLIC HEARING CDS
At 12:00 p.m. Chairman Jewell opened a Special Meeting to
consider setting a Public Hearing to consider a 6 month
moratorium on applications for proposed major alternative energy
systems until an update on the Comprehensive Plan is approved.
SET PUBLIC HEARING 6 MONTH MORATORIUM CDS
Commissioner Osiadacz moved to Set a Public Hearing to consider
issuing a Six (6) Month Moratorium on Applications for Proposed
Major Alternative Energy Systems until an update on the
Comprehensive Plan is approved, to be held on Thursday March 9,
2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the Commissioner’s Auditorium, Room 109,
Kittitas County Courthouse 205 West 5th Avenue Ellensburg, WA
98926. Chairman Jewell seconded. Motion carried 2-0.
The meeting was adjourned at 12:10 p.m.
