SPECIAL MEETING
MONDAY 3:00 PM NOVEMBER 10, 2014
Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Gary
Berndt and Commissioner Obie O'Brien.
Others: Todd Davis, Director of Noxious Weed; Patti Johnson,
Director of Solid Waste and Judy Pless, Budget and Finance
Manager.
SPECIAL MEETING COMMISSIONERS
Noxious Weed
Todd Davis presented his 2015 preliminary budget. The board
asked questions about the herbicides used for weed control.
Solid waste
Patti Johnson presented her 2015 preliminary budget. Her
budget includes a new 3/4 time position. Johnson stated the
garbage collection is down because more people are recycling.
Construction Demolition fees are up as there has been an
increase in construction.
Other budget discussion
The board discussion the property taxes that are included in the
2015 preliminary budget for the General Fund, County Road, Flood
Control and Veterans Assistance.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:00 pm.
