COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />HR STUDY SESSION <br /> <br />TUESDAY 10:00 AM JULY 12, 2016 <br />Board members present: Obie O’Brien, Laura Osiadacz <br />Others: Lisa Young, Greg Zempel <br />1) Call to Order – 10:03 AM <br /> <br />2) Staffing Discussion and/or Requests <br /> Prosecutor – HR Director Young presented a PAF for a wage <br />adjustment for R. Schoos. Prosecutor Zempel explained that when <br />this employee was hired she had 35 years of experience and was <br />hired during the economic downturn. Chairman O’Brien felt it would <br />be a good idea to wait until the wage survey was done. The <br />Commissioners approved and signed the PAF as presented. <br /> CDS – Tabled <br /> <br />3) HR Updates <br /> Projects – Director Young provided an update on the current <br />projects she is working on. <br /> Compensation Committee – Director Young asked if the Board wanted <br />to activate the Compensation Committee due to outside discussions <br />occurring; they said to wait until after the wage survey is done, <br />then see if it is necessary. <br /> New Hire Process – Director Young provide an update on the status <br />of new hires starting on the first three Mondays of each month. <br /> <br />4) Other Business – None <br /> <br />5) Adjourn – 10:30 AM <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Lisa Young Obie O’Brien, Chairman <br />
