COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />WEDNESDAY 1:00 PM OCTOBER 28, 2015 <br />Board members present: Gary Berndt, Obie O’Brien, Paul Jewell <br />Others: Lisa Young, Mark Cook <br />SPECIAL MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />1) Call to Order – 1:10 PM <br /> <br />2) Staffing Discussion – Requests for Approval <br /> Public Works – PW Director Cook discussed a proposal to <br />restructure the Construction Division of Public Works. <br />This would include posting for a County Surveyor, <br />Engineer Tech IV (internal), Construction Manager, and <br />Engineer Tech III. The Board approved County Surveyor, <br />Engineer Tech IV, and Construction Manager. Director <br />Cook also asked for authorization to make an offer to an <br />employee who had provided notice of retirement. This <br />would give him time to hire a replacement and allow for <br />cross training.
