SPECIAL MEETING COMMISSIONERS
1) Call to Order – 1:10 PM
2) Staffing Discussion – Requests for Approval
Public Works – PW Director Cook discussed a proposal to
restructure the Construction Division of Public Works.
This would include posting for a County Surveyor,
Engineer Tech IV (internal), Construction Manager, and
Engineer Tech III. The Board approved County Surveyor,
Engineer Tech IV, and Construction Manager. Director
Cook also asked for authorization to make an offer to an
employee who had provided notice of retirement. This
would give him time to hire a replacement and allow for
cross training. The Board approved.
Maintenance/Solid Waste – The Board discussed combining
the positions of Solid Waste Director and Maintenance
Director.
