COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />TUESDAY 10:00 AM MAY 26, 2015 <br />Board members present: Gary Berndt, Obie O’Brien, Paul Jewell <br />Others: Lisa Young <br />REGULAR MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />1) Call to Order – 10:05 AM <br /> <br />2) Misdemeanant Probation – Financial Update – Tabled for next <br />HR Study Session. <br /> <br />3) HR Updates – HR Director Young provided updates on the <br />recruitment process for CDS Director and Maintenance <br />Director, as well as the wage survey. The Board authorized <br />her to work with Commissioner Berndt to update the job <br />description for CDS Director, and they decided to match the <br />City of Ellensburg for a competitive wage. They also <br />selected options for a Maintenance Director interview <br />panel, which would include Commissioner O’Brien, Patti <br />Johnson, Paula Hoctor, Clayton Myers, Terry Powers, Mickey <br />Webb, Judy Pless, and HR. Commissioner Jewell notified <br />Director Young that she did not need to get involved with <br />Public Works contracts. Director Young let the Board know <br />that she is looking into her options for hiring a CWU <br />intern.
