NOVEMBER 30, 2016 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman, Paul <br />Jewell & Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Clay Myers, <br />Undersheriff; Patti Johnson, Solid Waste/Maintenance <br />Director/Project Manager; Jim Goeben, IT Director; Christine Luvera, <br />Lower District Court Administrator; Greg Zempel, Prosecutor; Lisa <br />Murray, Administrative Assistant; Robin Read, Public Health <br />Administrator; Kaitlyn Reddick, Fiscal Analyst; Diana MacKenzie, <br />Upper District Court Administrator; Nick Henderson, Coroner; Dan <br />Carlson, CDS Director; Kathy Jurgens, Robin Raap, Administrative <br />Assistant; Angela Bugni, Legal Secretary; Mark Cook, Public Works <br />Director; Pat Gigstead, Chief Probation Officer; Mickey Webb, Event <br />Center Director; Todd Davis, Noxious Weed Program Coordinator; Tip <br />Hudson, Extension Agent; Sue Higginbotham, Administrative Assistant; <br />Lisa Young, Human Resource Director; Andrew Drain, Application <br />Development Manager; Jerry Pettit, Auditor; Heather Seibert, Chief <br />Financial Manager; Michael Stafford, Juvenile Court Administrator; <br />Holly Myers, Environmental Health Supervisor; Val Barschaw, Clerk; <br />and 1 member of the public. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING BUDGET REVIEW COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman O’Brien opened a Special Meeting to consider <br />reviewing the 2017 proposed budgets. <br /> <br />Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager reviewed the proposed budget <br />for 2017 and said she has received some adjustments since the last <br />time the Board met and with those, the budget is only out of balance <br />by $233,072.00. <br /> <br />Various departments submitted cuts to assist in bringing the <br />proposed 2017 budget into balance. The Board thanked everyone for <br />their hard work and for being conscious of their budgets throughout <br />the past years. There were still some conversations to be had with <br />the Sheriff and Prosecutors office prior to next week’s Public <br />Hearing. Departments were asked to go back and adjust their budgets <br />to reflect their cuts and to let them know if new revenue is found <br />as well. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
