COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:50 A.M. NOVEMBER 28, 2016
Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul
Jewell & Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Doc Hansen,
Planning Official and one member of the public, (note there was no
9:40 a.m. dept. head meeting).
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD CDS
Doc Hansen, Planning Official requested the Board’s direction on an
e-mail received from Joseph Sheeran (hand delivered), regarding
“lack of public notice of public hearings on HopeSource 50 union
low-income housing project on Pfenning”.
The Board indicated that they were familiar with the message.
Commissioner Jewell indicated that it would probably not be the best
if the Board spoke much about that manner since it may come before
them in a future quasi-judicial setting. The Board supported Mr.
Hansen responding to the letter and addressing the misconceptions.
Chairman O’Brien asked that the letter reference County Code where
appropriate.
Meeting adjourned at 10:03 a.m.
