COMMISSIONER’S CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
TUESDAY 11:30 A.M. NOVEMBER 8, 2016
Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul
Jewell & Laura Osiadacz Commissioner.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mark Cook, Public Works
Director; Neil Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor; and 2 members of the
public.
SPECIAL MEETING MIDSTATE AVIATION LEASE PUBLIC WORKS
At 11:30 a.m. Chairman O’Brien opened a Special Meeting to consider
an assignment of Lease from Midstate Aviation to Central Washington
University.
Mark Cook, Public Works Director, reviewed the history of the
request and said they have been working with Midstate Aviation and
Central Washington University over the past few months, working on
completing the proposed lease assignment. He said over the next
year, various Fixed Base Operator services are anticipated to
transfer from Midstate to Central and Staff will work with them to
ensure no loss of overall service package delivery to airport users.
RESOLUTION 2016-146 MIDSTATE AVIATION LEASE PUBLIC WORKS
Commissioner Jewell moved to approve Resolution No. 2016-146,
Midstate Aviation Lease Assignment to Central Washington University,
subject to terms and conditions described in the Lease Assignment
and Sale of Leasehold Improvements Agreement. Commissioner Osiadacz
seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
