Building Board ofAppeals:
Mike distributed the Board of Appeals draft to the Board. Mike gave a brief presentation regarding the Board of Appeals,
their purpose, and process. Commissioner O'Brien asked why the Board of Appeals is not functioning for other jurisdictions.
Mike stated most jurisdictions just do not like them. Mike stated the Board of Appeals is fair due process.
Board Direction: None.
Advisory Group Update:
Angela gave an update on the Comprehensive Plan Advisory Groups. Angela stated they have had their first meeting and
have about 50 people participating. Angela gave a timeline for the next four meetings and gave an overview of what will be
involved in those meetings.
Board Direction: None.
Shoreline Master Program Cultural Resource Options:
Angela stated the Shoreline Master Program went into effect late winter and an appeal was filed. Angela described the types
of options other counties have gone through when an appeal was filed. Angela stated there are three options and two data
sharing agreements and explained those. Angela recommended the online data sharing route and stated the next step is to
send a status report in early July and provide the list of settlement options that are being entertained.

Final Proposals for Docket due June 301h:
Doc reemphasized that requests for the Docket are due by June 30'h. Commissioner Jewell stated he has two items to add.
Doc stated he will send a list of the items once it is refined.
