CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES
June 13, 2016
THOSE PRESENT: Laura Osiadacz, Paul Jewell, Obie O'Brien (BOCC) Doc Hansen, Angela San Filippo,
Stephanie Mifflin (CDS) Mark Cook, Lucas Huck (PW)

Advisory Groun Tovics:
Angela stated she sent out a list to the Board that was put together by County staff. Angela asked that the Board let her know
if they have any input or ideas for advisory groups. Commissioner Jewell asked if there has been discussion on impact fees.
Angela stated it has been brought up with COG and the City of Ellensburg for interlocal agreement. Angela stated the CWPP
has many references to impact fees.
There was discussion on the other topics on the list including mineral resource lands, urban growth boundaries, and parking.
Board Direction: None.
Input on Draft Vision Statement.
Angela stated she pulled the draft vision statement and that the Goals and Policies will be more specific. Angela stated she is
presenting this to the Planning Commission. Commissioner Osiadacz asked if Angela would like edits for punctuation and
grammar. Angela stated yes, please send the edits.

Update on Citizen -initiated Amendment Requests:
Angela stated the County received two: Housing and Solar Farms. Angela stated there is a public comment period through
June 30`h, then the requests are taken to the advisory boards, and then Staff will draft a recommendation.
