SPECIAL MEETING
WEDNESDAY 9:00 A.M. OCTOBER 12, 2016
Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien & Commissioner Laura
Osiadacz. Excused: Vice-Chairman, Paul Jewell.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Judy Pless,
Budget & Finance Manager; Brett Wachsmith, Treasurer; Jerry Pettit,
Auditor; Neyda Flores, Audit Lead.
SPECIAL MEETING STATE AUDITOR COMMISSIONERS
At 9:07 a.m. Chairman O’Brien opened a Special Meeting with the
Washington State Auditor’s office to go over the Accountability
Audit Entrance Conference.
Neyda Flores, Audit Lead reviewed the Audit Scope for the 2015
fiscal year and the areas they intend to audit. She reviewed the
levels of reporting, dispute process, audit costs and their
communication plan. She discussed some emerging issues affecting
local government and resources available. She indicated that they
anticipate completing the audit by the end of next week (10/17 –
10/21).
Meeting adjourned at 9:15 a.m.
