Call to Order: 11:00 AM
Text Message Push for Emergencies to Management Team and Others
Mr. Goeben reviewed the history of the project and the Security Committee’s favorable
recommendation to use Microsoft Exchange for secondary notification to employees and facility renters
of emergency events.
Board direction: Approved. Commissioner Jewell asked Mr. Goeben to update the county emergency
procedures and request the Security Committee provide staff training covering sending notifications
during an evacuation or emergency.
Streaming Agenda Sessions to the Internet
Mr. Goeben asked the board for direction on this project now that they have viewed a demonstration.
Board direction: Commissioner Jewell asked to have the full recommendation brought to the board for
consideration.
