COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:40 A.M. AUGUST 22, 2016
Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul
Jewell & Commissioner Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Judy Pless,
Budget & Finance Director.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD AUDITOR
Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager presented the Board with the
annual letter they send to the Washington Counties Risk Pool
regarding the County’s option to keep their current deductible and
maintain the excess insurance layer for the insurance period October
1, 2016 through September 30, 2017.
LETTER WA CO. RISK POOL COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Jewell moved to authorize Chair signature on a letter
to Derek Bryan, Executive Director Washington counties Risk Pool,
notifying him that Kittitas County would like to continue its
participation in the optional “Excess Liability Insurance” and that
the County would like to keep its deductible at $25,000.00.
Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
Meeting adjourned at 9:50 a.m.
