COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:50 A.M. AUGUST 1, 2016
Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien & Vice-Chairman Paul
Jewell. Excused: Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Christine Luvera,
Dist. Court Administrator.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD LDC
Christine Luvera, LDC Administrator explained that they have used up
their Jury and Witness budget line which was $8,000.00 and it’s only
halfway through the year. She stated that there is no way to tell if
they will have to come back another time after this or not, as it
just depends on how steady the trials stay. She stated that last
year she budgeted for $8,000.00 and had to come back for $5,000.00
and all of it was used 2015.
The Board authorized an increase of $5,000.00 for the Jury & Witness
budget line.
