KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONER’S AUDITORIUM
SPECIAL MEETING
THURSDAY 3:00 P.M. JULY 28, 2016
Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul
Jewell and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Neil Caulkins, Deputy
Prosecutor and approximately 17 members of the public.
SPECIAL MEETING SHADY ACRES MOBILE HOME PARK EXTENSION COMMISSIONERS
At 3:00 p.m. Chairman O’Brien opened a Special Meeting. Neil
Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor, reviewed an Addendum to a Purchase and
Sale Agreement to purchase the Shady Acres Mobile Home Park. He
indicated the deadline to close is August 1, 2016 and the proposed
Addendum would make it September 9, 2016. He said all other
conditions in the Agreement would remain the same.
ADDENDUM SHADY ACRES MOBILE HOME PARK EXTENSION COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Jewell moved to approve a First Amendment to the Real
Estate Purchase and Sale Agreement between Jerold D. Barton and
Diane M. Barton, and Kittitas County, extending the closing date to
September 9, 2016. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried
3-0.
LETTER STATE LIQUOR CONTROL BOARD COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Jewell moved to approve a letter to the Washington
State Liquor Control Board, notifying them of no objections to the
issuance of a Special Occasion, banquet or other permit to serve
liquor from Energy Events (Non-Profit Kids with Energy) for their
event hosting the Suncadia Multisport Summer Festival from July 29,
2016 through July 31, 2016 at Nelson Farm. Commissioner Osiadacz
seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
The meeting adjourned at 3:04 p.m.
