2016-07-13 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONER’S AUDITORIUM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />WEDNESDAY 10:30 A.M. JULY 13, 2016 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul <br />Jewell & Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Robin Read, <br />Public Health Administrator; Joann Schaan, Developmental <br />Disabilities Coordinator; Kaitlyn Reddick, Fiscal Analyst; Bruce <br />Tabb, Elmview; Kasey Knutson, Health Promotion Supervisor; Carole <br />Miller Rhodes, Program Director at EnTrust; Daniel Ortega, Trellis; <br />Sheri Powers, Elmview; Sheri Bury, Elmview; Rolf Williams, Parent to <br />Parent and two members of the public. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING DD UPDATE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 10:30 a.m. Chairman O’Brien opened a Special Meeting to receive <br />an update regarding Kittitas County DD Services. <br /> <br />Carole Miller Rhodes, Program Director at EnTrust gave an overview <br />of the provider employment services they offer. Rolf Williams, <br />Parent to Parent (P2P) gave handouts summarizing the services that <br />P2P provides as an education provider in Kittitas County. <br /> <br />Robin Read, Public Health Administrator provided a handout outlining <br />general updates and changes for the future plans of the Kittitas <br />County Disabilities program. She stated that it’s her plan to have <br />all DD Contracts presented to the BoCC during the 8.2.2016 Agenda. <br />She reviewed the 2016 priorities for the DD Program. Ms. Read <br />discussed the RFQ process for employment providers and the Board <br />supported a 2 year renewal process. Ms. Read reviewed a handout <br />outlining the Developmental Disability Program Information & <br />Education Funds and discussed the recommendation for the Board to <br />consider.
