KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONER’S CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
THURSDAY 10:30 A.M. JULY 7, 2016
Board members present: Vice-Chairman Paul Jewell and Commissioner
Laura Osiadacz. Excused: Chairman Obie O’Brien.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Josh Hink,
Deputy Fire Marshal/Interim Fire Marshal.
SPECIAL MEETING DECLARE A BURN BAN COMMISSIONERS
At 10:35 a.m. Vice-Chairman Jewell opened a Special Meeting to
consider declaring an emergency ban on outdoor burning. Josh Hink,
Deputy Fire Marshal/Interim Fire Marshal explained that if the Board
supports the Resolution it will be in effect until 9/30/2016 unless
it needs to be extended.
RESOLUTION 2016-089 OUTDOOR BURN BAN COMISSIONERS
Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve Resolution No. 2016-089, A
Resolution Declaring an Emergency Ban on Outdoor Burning. Vice-
Chairman Jewell seconded. He thanked the Deputy Fire Marshal/Interim
Fire Marshal for keeping the Board in the loop and bringing forward
the Resolution for the Board to consider. Motion carried 2-0.
The meeting adjourned at 9:50 a.m.
