THURSDAY 2:00 P.M. JUNE 30, 2016
Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul
Jewell; and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Doc Hansen,
Planning Official/Interim Planning Director; Mike Flory, Plans
Examiner/Interim Building Official and 1 member of the public.
PUBLIC HEARING 2015 INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE CDS
At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN O’BRIEN opened a continued Public Hearing from
June 21, 2016, to consider revisions to text in Kittitas County Code
Chapter 14.04 Building Code to adopt the new 2015 International
Building Codes with Washington State Amendments.
MIKE FLORY, PLANS EXAMINER/INTERIM BUILDING OFFICIAL explained the
formatting changes he made to the proposed Ordinance.
ORDINANCE 2016-012 AMEND K.C.C. 14.04 CDS
COMMISSIONER JEWELL moved to approve Ordinance No. 2016-012,
Amending KCC Title 14.04 Building Code and Adoption of the 2015
International Building Codes with Washington State Amendments.
COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:07 p.m.
