COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:50 A.M. JUNE 27, 2016
Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien & Commissioner Laura
Osiadacz. Excused: Vice-Chairman Paul Jewell.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Mickey Webb,
Event Center Director; Tip Hudson, Extension Agent; & Kathleen
Satnik, Master Gardener Coordinator.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD KVEC
Mickey Webb, Event Center Director presented the Board with a
drawing that outlined the Master Gardeners demonstration garden
proposal at the KVEC Armory.
Kathleen Satnik, Master Gardener Coordinator reviewed the plans as
well for Phase One and Two.
Chairman O’Brien and Commissioner Osiadacz both shared their support
for the proposal and expressed their excitement to see it come
together.
OTHER BUSINESS –
Mickey Webb, Event Center Director presented the Board with a
picture of a location at the Event Center the Queen of Spades is
proposing to do another planting project. He explained that he was
just making them aware of what’s going on down at the KVEC and he
didn’t need any action taken.
