06/27/2016 MINUTES 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 9:50 A.M. JUNE 27, 2016 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien & Commissioner Laura <br />Osiadacz. Excused: Vice-Chairman Paul Jewell. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Mickey Webb, <br />Event Center Director; Tip Hudson, Extension Agent; & Kathleen <br />Satnik, Master Gardener Coordinator. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD KVEC <br /> <br />Mickey Webb, Event Center Director presented the Board with a <br />drawing that outlined the Master Gardeners demonstration garden <br />proposal at the KVEC Armory. <br /> <br />Kathleen Satnik, Master Gardener Coordinator reviewed the plans as <br />well for Phase One and Two. <br /> <br />Chairman O’Brien and Commissioner Osiadacz both shared their support <br />for the proposal and expressed their excitement to see it come <br />together. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS – <br /> <br />Mickey Webb, Event Center Director presented the Board with a <br />picture of a location at the Event Center the Queen of Spades is <br />proposing to do another planting project.
