KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM
SPECIAL MEETING
TUESDAY 3:00 P.M. JUNE 14, 2016
Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul
Jewell; and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Angela San Filippo,
Staff Planner; and Doc Hansen, Planning Official/Interim Planning
Director.
PUBLIC HEARING COUNTYWIDE PLANNING POLICIES CDS
At 3:03 p.m. CHAIRMAN O’BRIEN opened a Public Hearing continued from
June 7, 2016 to consider Amendments to the Countywide Planning
Policies as adopted and recommended by the Kittitas County
Conference of Governments. He noted the record was closed.
ANGELA SAN FILIPPO, STAFF PLANNER, explained how she had taken the
Commissioners proposed changes back to the Council of Governments.
She reviewed their comments and changes to the documents since the
Public Hearing. The Board asked Staff questions, provided comments,
and suggestions for changing the document.
MS. SAN FILIPPO said she would take the suggested changes back to
the Council of Governments for further information at the June 22nd
meeting.
COMMISSIONER JEWELL moved to continue the Public Hearing to Tuesday
July 5, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. on the Commissioners Agenda, under Board
Discussion & Decision, to be held in the Commissioners Auditorium,
Room 109, Kittitas County Courthouse 205 West 5th Avenue Ellensburg,
WA. COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:43 p.m.
