MONDAY 1:00 P.M. MAY 02, 2016
Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; and Commissioner Laura
Osiadacz. Excused: Commissioner Paul Jewell.
Others: Homeless and Affordable Housing Committee (HAHC) members:
Nancy Goodloe, David Miller, Jack Frost, and Debbie Myers, HAHC
Clerk. Angela San Filippo, Community Development Staff Planner;
John Raymond, HopeSource; Jesse Major, Daily Record; and 3 members
of the public.
SPECIAL MEETING HOMELESS AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMITTEE BOCC
At 1:10 p.m. Chairman O’Brien opened a Special Meeting to update the
new HAHC Chairman, Commissioner Osiadacz on HAHC issues.
Chairman O’Brien reviewed how the homeless and affordable housing
funds are fees collected from recorded documents; household incomes;
the States definition of homelessness, and how the HAHC solicits
bids and applications to help with affordable housing and reduce
homelessness.
There was discussion on household incomes and what is considered
income; updating the 10 Year Plan and the application for funding;
RFP’s; veteran’s affairs; and the HAHC’s responsibilities.
The meeting was adjourned 1:59 p.m.
