KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
MONDAY 11:00 A.M. March 7, 2016
Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul
Jewell and Commissioner Gary Berndt.
Others: Judy Pless, Budget and Finance Manager; Dora Van Epps,
Fiscal Analyst; John Raymond with HopeSource; and Debbie Myers,
Clerk.
SPECIAL MEETING CONSIDER LODGING TAX AGREEMENTS COMMISSIONERS
At 11:05 a.m. Chairman O’Brien opened a Special Meeting to
review the 2016 Lodging Tax Agreements as awarded by Kittitas
County Resolution No. 2015-185 enacted on 12-15-15; Cle Elum
Resolution No. 2015-012 enacted on 12-8-15; Ellensburg
Resolution No. 2015-36 enacted on 12-21-15; and Roslyn
Resolution No. 15-012 enacted on 12-8-15.
Commissioner Jewell reviewed the Lodging Tax Agreement process
and the changes to the 2016 agreement format. He also noted
some of the agreements needed to have (if applicable) added to
the sentence in 2F. He also asked to add that the agreement has
changed and please read carefully to the recipient’s letter.
AGREEMENTS LODGING TAX COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Jewell moved Board approval and signature on the
Agreements with the above noted changes. Commissioner Berndt
seconded. Motion carried.
Staff to make changes and send out agreements when fully
executed.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:22 a.m.
