COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONER’S CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
FRIDAY 4:00 P.M. MAY 6, 2016
Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman, Paul
Jewell. Excused: Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Neil Caulkins,
Deputy Prosecutor; Patti Johnson, Solid Waste/Maintenance Director/
Project Manager & Attorney Bob Olsen (by phone).
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 4:00 p.m. Chairman O’Brien opened a Special Meeting and announced
the Board would recess into Executive Session for 20 minutes to
discuss with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating
to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel
representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which
the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an official
capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge
regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or
financial consequence to the agency. No action anticipated.
At 4:20 p.m. the Board reconvened from Executive Session. Staff was
directed to continue negotiations and set another Special Meeting
for Tuesday May 10, 2016.
Meeting adjourned at 4:20 p.m.
