COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:50 A.M. APRIL 25, 2016
Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul
Jewell. Excused: Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Patti Johnson,
Solid Waste/Maintenance Director/ Project Manager; Mickey Webb,
Event Center Director.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD MAINTENANCE
Patti Johnson, Solid Waste/Maintenance Director/ Project Manager
presented the Board with the Kittitas County/Ellensburg Rodeo Arena
Seating Upgrade Phase II proposal from ALSC. She reviewed the price
breakdown totaling $374,606.00. The Board reviewed the breakdown and
indicated that ALSC needs to strike the Gorman Preservation
Associates Fee. They directed Ms. Johnson to go back to ALSC with
the Boards concerns, as well as meet with the Rodeo Board and have a
conversation about them paying half the cost.
