KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:40 A.M. APRIL 11, 2016
Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien & Vice-Chairman Paul
Jewell. (Commissioner Dist. #2 Vacant)
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Brett Wachsmith,
Treasurer.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD TREASURER
Brett Wachsmith, Treasurer presented the Board with a Real Estate
Purchase and Sale Agreement between Paul Gamon and Kittitas County,
Map#18-18-35055-1817/Parcel# 383133.
He stated his only request was that the taxes get paid. He stated
that Deputy Prosecutor Chris Horner included that in the Agreement
before the Board today, and Mr. Gamon signed it prior. He explained
that once this is complete it will be finalized by a Resolution,
Quit Claim Deed and an Excise Tax Affidavit.
AGREEMENT PURCHASE & AGREEMENT TREASURER
Commissioner Jewell moved to authorize Chair’s signature on a Real
Estate Purchase & Sale Agreement between Paul Gamon and Kittitas
County. Chairman O’Brien seconded. The Board encouraged Mr.
Wachsmith to work with Deputy Prosecutor Horner to see if the
neighbors were interested in the property, and if so what the proper
steps are to legally transfer it. Motion carried 2-0.
Meeting adjourned at 9:50 a.m.
