03/14/2016 MINUTES 1 COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM REGULAR MEETING MONDAY 9:40 A.M. MARCH 14, 2016 Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul Jewell & Commissioner Gary Berndt. Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Clay Myers, Undersheriff; Doug Mitchell, Deputy Prosecutor; Greg Zempel, Prosecutor. REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD SHERIFF At 9:40 a.m. Chairman O’Brien opened a Special Meeting and announced the Board would recess into Executive Session for 10 minutes to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial consequence to the agency. No action anticipated. At 9:50 a.m. the Board reconvened from Executive Session. No action was taken. At 9:50 a.m. Chairman O’Brien announced the Board would recess back into Executive Session for an additional 10 minutes to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial consequence to the agency. No action anticipated. At 10:00 a.m. the Board reconvened from Executive Session. No action was taken.
