COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:40 A.M. MARCH 7, 2016
Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul
Jewell & Commissioner Gary Berndt.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Kay Kresge,
Accountant; Judy Pless, Budget and Finance Manager.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD AUDITOR
Kay Kresge, Accountant reviewed documents for the Board to certify
the County’s Capital Assets. She explained that by the Board signing
the letter it represented their approval and certification under
oath that the attached listing of Capital Assets shown at cost value
as of 12.31.2015, including items added in 2015 and those disposed
in 2015. The total amount of Capital Assets for Kittitas County is
$223,301,127. She also noted that to be included are the Public
Works Road and Equipment Rental & Revolving increases of $12,253,119
and decreases of $2,124,134 which have not been entered into the
Cayenta system.
LETTER CAPITAL ASSETS AUDITOR
Commissioner Jewell moved to authorize Board signature on a letter
to County Auditor Jerry Pettit certifying the County’s Capital
Assets. Commissioner Berndt seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
