COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 10:00 A.M. FEBRUARY 29, 2016
Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul
Jewell & Commissioner Gary Berndt.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Jim Goeben, IT
Director & Lisa Young, HR Director.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD I.T.
Jim Goeben, IT Director requested permission to hire a temporary Web
Developer. He explained that they have been unable to get any
qualified candidates. He stated that he has spoken with Jessica
Soeland the previous Web Developer and she would be willing to
contract with the County until a qualified candidate is found.
The Board authorized a 90-day temporary hire. They indicated that
anything past 90 days would require a re-visit and to discuss
strategy’s.
Meeting adjourned at 10:10 a.m.
