JANUARY 5, 2016 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul Jewell <br />and Commissioner Gary Berndt. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Angela San Filippo, Staff <br />Planner; Doc Hansen, Planning Official/Interim Planning Director; Neil <br />Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor; Kathy Jurgens, Finance Systems Manager and <br />6 members of the public. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board called the meeting to order. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />NOMINATIONS FOR 2016 CHAIRMAN AND VICE-CHAIRMAN <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell nominated Commissioner O’Brien to serve as Chairman <br />of the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners for the year 2016. <br />Commissioner Berndt seconded the nomination. Nominations were closed. A <br />unanimous ballot was cast for Commissioner O’Brien to serve as Chairman <br />for the year 2016. <br /> <br />Chairman O’Brien asked for nominations to serve as Vice-Chairman of the <br />Kittitas County Board of Commissioners for the year 2016. Commissioner <br />Berndt nominated Commissioner Jewell to serve as Vice-Chairman for 2016. <br />Chairman O’Brien seconded the nomination. Nominations were closed.
