Dan <br />Valoff is processing those that have hearings and Jeff Watson is processing all of the administrative projects. <br />Anna Nelson is currently working on 2 new projects that have come in and is hoping to take on an additional 13 <br />projects. Anna Nelson discussed her strategy for Phase I and Phase II for completing projects and triaging. <br />Commissioner Jewell questioned the amount of the contract. Holmes clarified that it is not to exceed $50,000. <br />Commissioner McClain questioned about how long it would take to get caught up on the backlog without the <br />consulting firm. Valoff stated probably at least 6 months. Holmes stated that he will email the Board as to where <br />the funds are coming from and possibly a budget amendment. Holmes will be incorporating this discussion into <br />the budget update on Thursday with Judy Pless. Anna Nelson stated that this also includes code language <br />updates so we meet statutory requirements. Commissioner McClain stated that if Holmes thinks we can cover it <br />then they should give the head nod today. Commissioner Jewell stated we really need all of this cleaned up <br />before getting a Planning Official on board. Commissioner Crankovich stated that he would like to wait until <br />Thursday’s meeting. <br /> <br />No action taken. <br /> <br /> <br />Agriculture Buildings: Senate Bill 5120 <br />Davis stated that a new bill was approved on May 6, 2009 that says we can only charge true fees for agriculture <br />buildings. Commission McClain stated that he thinks we are going to be ok with how we are doing things. Davis <br />stated that is probably correct for small buildings but not for the larger ones. CDS will look at fees and adjust <br />accordingly. <br /> <br />No action taken. <br />
