Commissioner McClain questioned the funding and how quickly <br />we could accomplish the update. Holmes stated he would need to gather more information to answer that. <br />Commissioner McClain questioned if REET monies could be used for this update. Holmes said they would have <br />an audit finding if they did. Caulkins stated that was correct as it has nothing to do with being out of compliance. <br /> <br />No action taken. <br /> <br /> <br />2009 Flood Damage Staff Report <br />Flory stated that assessments were started on the 8th day after the declaration and by Friday we had 5 teams out <br />assessing the damage. We have looked at a total of about 200 sites and about half of the county damage was <br />sustained in Elk Meadows. Commissioner Crankovich stated CDS did a great job getting out there. Weyand <br />asked if she could get access to CDS reports so property owners can submit claims for damages and receive <br />lower taxes. Myers stated that they have been collecting reports and submitted them to the state to Labor and <br />Industries for help in the Elk Meadows area.
